RAJAJI NATIONAL PARK
 located in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, is a very spectacular protected forest area spread over the plains of the Shivalik mountain range of the Himalayas. Rajaji National Park is the natural habitat of a variety of wildlife here Asiatic elephant, tiger, leopard, jungle cat, striped hyena, Indian hare, sloth bear, Himalayan black bear, king cobra, jackal, fox, goral, barking deer, sambar, Wildlife like chital, wild boar, rhesus macaque, monkey, Indian langur, porcupine, monitor lizard and python can be easily spotted. Among the bird species, birds like crested kingfisher, Asian paradise flycatcher, great pied hornbill, oriental pied hornbill, spotted forktail, greater racket-tailed drongo, lesser racket-tailed drongo, pied kingfisher, crimson sunbird and fire-tail sunbird are found prominently. There is a different beauty of the big cedar trees in these national parks. Apart from the pine trees, the vegetation found near the river in this national park, large grasslands, deciduous forest areas make natural habitats for the wildlife living here. Apart from this, trees and plants like Rohini, Amaltas, Shisham, Sal, Palash, Arjun, Kachnar, Bamboo, Semul, Chamror, Ber, Chilla, Bael, Amla etc. are found in the vegetation here. Apart from tigers, elephants are the major center of attraction in this tiger reserve. Presently the number of elephants in this sanctuary is more than 500.
